Definition of War Council:  A council of war is a term in military science that describes a meeting held to decide on a course of action, usually in the midst of a battle.

Michael Matt, far right-wing radical traditionalist from Remnant Newspaper, excitedly and breathlessly released a video on Youtube on October 14 of a talk given that night by Bishop Athanasius Schneider in Rome to commemorate his new book.  Schneider's new book is actually just a very long interview he did with a radical right-wing Lifesitenews reporter.

It should be noted that there is no imprimatur on Bishop Schneider's book.  Read at your own risk.

Matt says in the video that it is the first time Schneider's book has been made available. Not exactly true.  The book was released on Amazon on September 26, about 3 weeks ago.

However, the meeting was not really about Bishop Schneider's book.  It was a planning session on how to defeat Pope Francis.  We can be sure there have been many such meetings held in private.  But this one was right out in the open, and very little was held back.

St. John Henry Newman? Not with Anti Pope Francis

There are a whole lot of catholics who are denying the papacy of Pope Francis, declaring him an anti pope  These same people are also very happy with the canonization of John Henry Newman.

Unfortunately, they have a real problem.  If Francis is an anti pope, there is no St. John Henry Newman.  An anti pope can't canonize anyone. 

Sigh.  Such a quandry, isn't it?

Mary Ann Kreitzer, Who are You Serving, Part 2

I recently wrote about Mary Ann Kreitzer in regard to a post on her blog authored by another contributor in which Pope Francis was completely renounced and declared an anti pope.  At the time I wrote, Mary Ann had not made any comments one way or another, but since it was on her blog, I could only assume she agreed with it.

Mary Ann finally commented last night.  She explained that she had been away celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary - Congratulations, Mary Ann - and had basically not been paying attention to the blog.  She commented in answer to a question directed at her:

Do I agree with Susan? Frankly, I don't know. We aren't clones.

I love and respect Susan and I know one thing for sure -- that we have an evil pope who is undermining the faith every chance he gets. It's not the first time in Church history and a man can be evil and still be a valid pope.

I do definitely agree with Mary Ann that a man can be evil and still be a valid pope.  We have some very sad examples throughout Church history.

Cardinal Sarah: To Oppose the Pope is to be Outside the Church

It is really amazing how emboldened the enemies of Pope Francis have become.  Just the other day, Zuhlsdorf gave advice on his blog on how to protest at the Vatican.

Also this past week there was also a "roundtable" including some of the "super stars" among the enemies of Francis, such as Michael Matt, Michael Voris, Taylor Marshall, and John-Henry Westin.  The topic of that roundtable was, of course, the heresy in the Church led by Pope Francis.  The "roundtable" was described by Lifesitenews as such:

Lay Catholic leaders from around the world, increasingly alarmed about the upcoming Amazonian Synod and how it threatens to disfigure and “Protestantize” the Church, gathered not far from the Vatican today to discuss their grave concerns.

The roundtable discussion, titled “Our Church – reformed or deformed?” was hosted by the international pro-life association Voice of the Family. Over 5,000 people across the continents tuned in.

On the eve of the synod, they described the multifaceted diabolical menace to the Catholic Church it portends to be. Their choice of strong language reflects the peril they sense: That after the synod, what will emerge will no longer be the Catholic Church.

“There are, at this moment, two religions within the Catholic Church,” declared Professor Roberto de Mattei.

“The first is the traditional Catholicism, the religion of those who, in the current confusion, continue to be faithful to the immutable Magisterium of the Church,” said de Mattei.

 
“The second, until a few months ago without a name, now has a name: it is the Amazonian religion because, as declared by the person currently governing the Church, there is a plan to give the Church ‘an Amazonian face,’” explained de Mattei.

 
“Two religions cannot coexist within the same Church,” he reaffirmed.

“Pope Francis and his clerical allies are creating a globalist organization with a Catholic-appearing face,” said Church Militant’s Michael Voris.

 
“What is emerging is not Catholic. The façade should be dropped and for once truth be allowed to prevail.”

 
Voris explained that Pope Francis has moved the Church to “align with a counterfeit kind of theology inspired by godless atheism, and in the rush to advance this, he’s surrounded himself with numerous clerical scoundrels — some who have been complicit in the performing of or cover-up of sex abuse of minors or young adults, mostly male.” 

None of these people even try to hide the fact that they are enemies of Pope Francis.  They consider the Holy Father to be the greatest threat to the Catholic Church on earth, and they are spreading that message as far and wide as they can.

War has been openly declared upon Pope Francis.

At that same time that they are openly at war with the Vicar of Christ, these people consider themselves to be the only true Catholics left in existence. As de Mattei said, there are two religions within the Catholic Church:  one led by Pope Francis, and one led by the enemies of Pope Francis.

And as de Mattei so rightly declared, "two religions cannot coexist within the same Church."

Which one will prevail?

Mary Ann Kreitzer, Who Are You Serving?

I have written many times about the importance of being loyal to the Chair of Peter.  The Church was founded upon St. Peter, and Our Lord personally gave the Keys to the Kingdom to Peter and his successors.  We cannot be in communion with Christ unless we are in communion with the earthly head of His Church.  

The Chair of Peter is of utmost importance because Our Lord considers loyalty to Peter as loyalty to Himself and God the Father, as he told Peter and the disciples in Luke 10:16:

There is no Church without Peter.  Without Peter, there are no bishops because bishops are appointed by Peter.  Without bishops, there are no priests because priests are ordained by the bishops.  Without priests, there is no Mass, no Holy Eucharist, no forgiveness of sins, no Sacraments whatsoever.  

All of this leads to the worst "no" of all - No Salvation.  We all die in our sins with no hope of salvation.  

Catholic Traditionalism: The Most Dangerous Movement In Our Time

My last post was way back in February.  I had gotten tired of all the viciousness and hate in the "catholic" blogosphere, and I didn't want to be a part of it anymore.  I felt it was a waste of time to fight those who are trying so hard to "save" the Catholic Church by trying to destroy it.  They listen only to each other and ferociously attack anyone who disagrees with them.

Jesus Christ told us to walk away from such people, shaking the dust off of our feet as we do so.  And that is just what I did.

During these past several months, I have been tempted to write on various topics, but I would always let it go.  However, I recently saw a post on onepeterfive.com which has all the hallmarks of being inspired by Satan himself, and I can no longer be silent.

Lesson From The Internet: No One Wants The Truth

I have been writing this blog for a little over 7 years.   When I first started in December 2011, I was a staunch Catholic traditionalist, and I fully embraced everything that goes with radical traditionalism.

I believed that the Traditional Latin Mass was the salvation not just of the Church but of the whole world.  My heroes were Michael Voris, John Zuhlsdorf, George Rutler, Michael Matt, ad nauseam.  I basically rejected the Second Vatican Council.  I was suspicious of everything and everyone in the Catholic Church who supported the Second Vatican Council in any way.  I wore a veil to Mass and eschewed such things as the Sign of Peace.

I was completely obnoxious and intolerant towards anyone who did not support my views.

Evil Beyond Belief: New York States Passes Bill Allowing Abortion Up To Due Date

This morning at Mass our priest told us that New York State just passed a new abortion law with the Orwellian title of Reproductive Health Act.

This bill has nothing to do with "reproduction" or "health."  It is all about expanding the law to legally kill babies.

This bill should be rightly called the Kill The Babies Act.

The new abortion law in New York allows women to kill their babies right up to the time of delivery.  Gov. Cuomo said he wanted this because he fears that Roe v. Wade will be overturned, thus leaving it up to each state to decide on legalized abortion.  He wants to be sure New York will be ready with the most liberal abortion laws possible.

Why Did Cardinal Donald Wuerl Lie?

Last summer, when Theodore McCarrick's dirty secret life was publicly revealed, Cardinal Donald Wuerl said that he had never been told that McCarrick was abusing seminarians or minors. 

From a July 29, 2018 article from WTOP:

Wuerl said he has never been approached with allegations of abuse by McCarrick and was unaware of the rumors that have been associated with his predecessor.

We know now that is not true. 

EWTN Officially Jumps the Shark: No Longer Catholic

Raymond Arroyo, EWTN's own beloved Pee Wee Herman, announced The World Over's Best and Worst Persons of 2018 on its last show of 2018.  And sadly, it was no shocker.

As I have discussed many, many times on this blog, Raymond Arroyo and his buddies have consistently and repeatedly criticized and denounced Pope Francis and everything he does and says.  They have done so through half truths and outright lies.

Arroyo and his buddies have also exalted and praised anyone who has stood in defiance against Pope Francis.

And of course, no one has taken a bigger stand against Pope Francis than Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, who broke every promise and vow of loyalty he made as priest and bishop when he called for the resignation of Pope Francis, an action which no human being on earth has the right or authority to do.

Bird Box: What It Means to Walk as a Christian In An Evil World

A new movie on Netflix has really made an impact on the public. It is entitled, "Bird Box" starring Sandra Bullock.  Netflix says over 45 million subscribers watched this movie, classified as a horror film, when it debuted.  That is the biggest debut of any movie they have ever had.

I was one of those 45 million.  It did not scare me as much as help me understand a little more what it means to walk as a Christian in this world ruled by Evil itself, a/k/a the devil.

Cardinal Gerhard Müller, “No one has the right to indict the Pope”

I find it fascinating at just how selective certain "Catholic" websites are in reporting and/or responding to stories regarding those they either support or hate.

As I wrote HERE, almost no Catholic blog or website reported on the article by Father James Martin in which he unequivocally stated the teachings of the Catholic Church in regard to homosexuality.  Father Martin made it very clear that the Church condemns homosexual activity and same sex marriage.  As far as I know, only John Zuhlsdorf responded to Father Martin's article, and he did so with his usual response:  propaganda, aspersions and lies.

Another news story completely ignored by the "faithful catholic" internet was the fact that a court found Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, hero of "faithful catholics", guilty of defrauding his brother, also a priest, of family inheritance.  Vigano was ordered to pay $2 million to his brother.  Vigano also defrauded his sister and settled out of court to pay her.  You can read this story HERE. 

You won't find the Vigano story on Church Militant, Lifesitenews, Father Z, or any other "faithful catholic" blog or website.

I wonder why.

Why Do So Many Converts Reject Pope Francis?

In the same way I don't visit porn sites, racist sites, etc., I now stay away from almost all "Catholic" web sites.  These sites do nothing to build my spirituality and bring me closer to God.  They literally poison my mind and destroy the presence of the Holy Spirit by driving out the Spirit of love, mercy and compassion and replacing it with a spirit of accusation, condemnation and hate. 

An amazing aspect of these sites is that they are basically clones of one another, writing about the same subjects from the same point of view with no original thought.  As I have stated previously, it is almost like they were all written by the same person.  There is certainly no doubt that they are all driven by the same spirit.

I don't think these "catholic" bloggers actually consult each other, and yet they all manage to come to the same conclusion:  the Catholic Church is dying and Pope Francis and his "henchman" bishops are actively participating in that destruction.

These bloggers and those who follow them believe they are the only true Catholics left on earth, and it is they who will save the Church and, by extension, the world.  We have not seen this much rebellion and rejection of authority in the Church since the Reformation.

Just how did these bloggers end up with their decidedly non-Catholic world view?  How have they become so confident in their own sanctity and their right to label all others, including the Vicar of Christ, as evil?  Why is it happening now?

Archbishop Vigano Third Testimony: Vigano No Longer Seeks Pope's Resignation and Admits No Formal McCarrick Sanctions

I am not surprised that in calling attention to these plagues I am charged with disloyalty to the Holy Father and with fomenting an open and scandalous rebellion.  Yet rebellion would entail urging others to topple the papacy.  I am urging no such thing.  I pray every day for Pope Francis -- more than I have ever done for the other popes.   Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano 10/19/18

Archbishop Vigano has responded to Cardinal Ouellet's October 7 open letter [HERE] with a third testimony [HERE].

Vigano is still standing by his basic accusations against Pope Francis in regard to McCarrick, namely:

• McCarrick was part of a network of bishops promoting homosexuality who, exploiting their favor with Pope Francis, manipulated episcopal appointments so as to protect themselves from justice and to strengthen the homosexual network in the hierarchy and in the Church at large. 
• Pope Francis himself has either colluded in this corruption, or, knowing what he does, is gravely negligent in failing to oppose it and uproot it. 

As with his first two testimonies, Vigano gives no corroborating documentary evidence to support these allegations.

However, there are two very notable departures made by Vigano from his first testimony.

First, Vigano makes a major concession by admitting that there were no formal sanctions against McCarrick as he claimed in his first testimony.

Secondly, and of greatest importance, Vigano has ceased to call for the resignation of Pope Francis.

Enemies of Pope Francis Continue to Lie and Attack Ruthlessly

I should be use to it by now, but I am still just completely blown away by the blatant lies and false, malicious accusations made against by Pope Francis by those intent on destroying the Holy Father.

Father John Zuhlsdorf is once again at the forefront of those trying desperately to instill suspicion and hatred among his readers towards Pope Francis.

I am going to say it right here, loud and clear, because there is no other explanation.

John Zuhlsdorf, with his constant lies and false accusations, is an agent of the father of lies, Satan himself.
